Land Accelerator South Asia 2023

The Land Accelerator South Asia is designed to foster a unique entrepreneurial ecosystem which aims at nurturing these innovative landscape entrepreneurs with dedicated mentorship, technical expertise, marketing and networking solutions, and funding for scaling up. The Land Accelerator South Asia program also aims to develop sustainable and profitable business models for land restoration. World Resources Institute India (WRI India) and Sangam Ventures are jointly hosting the Land Accelerator South Asia this July - December 2023. We are looking for a cohort of 30 entrepreneurs from across South Asia, who will undergo in-person and virtual capacity building and training sessions. After 2 months, 15 entrepreneurs will be selected for additional training, mentoring, opportunity to pitch to impact investors and funding support through an innovation support of $ 3,000 at successful completion of the program (Top 15 startups)

Program Details

DETAILED ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 1. Working to improve an agrarian, farm or forest landscape through a business approach. This includes sustainable climate-smart agriculture and forestry, reforestation, non-timber forest produce (NTFP) and similar activities. 2. Stage - Minimum Viable Product, Early traction, Scaling stage 3. Interested in raising money for your venture 4. Incorporated in India (DPIIT recognised as startup), Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka
