The National Seed Congress (NSC) is an annual confluence of researchers, policymakers, farmers, and representatives from the private and public sector to delve deeper into rice seed production and distribution to strengthen the agricultural sector in India and globally. With the theme, "Fostering Regional Cooperation, Partnership, and Knowledge Exchange in the Seed Sector," NSC 2024 provides a platform for presenting experiences and insights on the research advances, innovations, and principles related to seeds, crop improvements, and seed delivery systems.
NSC 2024 aims to catalyze scientific progress by facilitating the exchange of ideas, promoting interdisciplinary research, and inspiring the future scientists. It addresses pressing global challenges, offering insights and solutions that can influence policy change, technological innovations, and sustainable development

Abstract Submission Guidelines
Please adhere to the following guidelines when submitting your abstract:
The title should be clear, informative, and limited to 15 words or fewer. It must be formatted in 14-point bold Times New Roman and centered.
Beneath the title, the author's/authors' names and institutional affiliations should be provided in 12-point Times New Roman, also centered.
The body of the abstract, restricted to 350 words , should be written in 12-point Times New Roman, justified, and single-spaced.
A concise overview of the research, indicating background, objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions, must be presented.
Citations, figures, and tables are not to be included. Up to five keywords, italicized and separated by commas , should be listed at the end.
Below the abstract, the selected theme of the conference should be mentioned along with preferred mode of presentation (oral/poster)
1-inch margins are required on all sides.
Types of Submission :
Oral Sessions:Participants are required to deliver a 10-minute presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint, following the template. The presentation should feature high-resolution images and minimize text on the slides to ensure clarity. The presentation should clearly illustrate the research gap, objectives, methodology, and key findings of the study.
Poster Sessions:
Guidelines
1. Refer to the attached an editable template that has to be used for poster presentation.
2. Specifications :
Font and Colors: Ensure that the font styles and colors are consistent with the template to maintain a professional appearance.
Poster Size: The poster should be prepared, with dimensions of 1m (width) x 2.5m (height).
Print Quality: The poster should be suitable for printing on glossy paper to enhance visual appeal.
3. Content Structure:
Title: Include a clear and concise title at the top along with author names, affiliations and corresponding author(s) email
Research Gap: Clearly outline the research gap your study addresses.
Objectives: State the main objectives of your research.
Methodology: Provide a brief overview of the methods used in your research.
Results and Discussions: Highlight the most important findings in a clear and engaging manner.
Additional information for abstract submitters:
The first author or corresponding author(s) is required to attend the conference in person and present their research, following the completion of the registration process.
Certificates for successful presentations, whether delivered through oral or poster sessions, will be issued in the name of the presenting author.
Additionally, awards for the best oral or poster presentations will also be issued in the name of the presenting author.
Authors should provide all the necessary details and indicate the preferred mode of submission (Oral/Poster)
