OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME


(1) To provide opportunity to facilitate the Social scientists for upgrading their knowledge and skills in learning advances in data analysis techniques in social sciences

(2) To create an awareness for process and analyze huge data with proper statistical tools

(3) To strengthen knowledge among social science researchers regarding qualitative data analysis techniques

(4) To acquaint participants in handling secondary data e.g NSSO data

(5) To provide hands on training for the data analysis using computer software such as STATA, SPSS, Eview and R

WHO SHOULD APPLY

All registered M.Phil./ Ph.D. and PDF Scholars in Social Science disciplines from the recognized universities/Research institutes of India are eligible to participate. First-time applicants for the Research Methodology Course will be preferred. Preference will be given to Women, SC, ST and OBC categories participants. Besides them young faculty members who are pursuing Ph.D in Social Sciences are also eligible in this course




HOW TO APPLY

Interested candidate may apply for the RMC course by filling and submitting the Registration Form duly forwarded by their supervisor and head of the department/institution. The clear scanned copy (only in pdf) of the registration form is to be uploaded in the Google Form by the due date. The original registration form should be produced on the first day of the course. REGISTRATION FEES: There is NO registration fee for the selected participants.


Last Date of Registration: 10.02.2024

Intimation to selected candidates: 12.02.2024

Dates of the Course: 20.02.2024 to 29.02.2024


The participants will be provided with a certificate on successful completion of the Research Methodology Course (RMC). It is Mandatory for all participants to attend all the classes/sessions and submit assignments whenever required
