About Conference

The international conference on Enabling Sustainable Food Systems through Natural Farming (ESFS-NF) is a comprehensive two-day event dedicated to advancing sustainable agriculture, natural farming, and agroecological crop protection. It is being organised as part of SuSPNF and Agroecological Crop Protection towards International Coinnovation dynamics and evidence of Sustainability (ACROPICS), which addresses the need for sustainable agricultural practices that use little to no harmful crop protection inputs. The ACROPICS reinforces place-based co-innovation initiatives involving local actors implementing agroecological crop protection; connects these initiatives to each other and to research & innovation teams worldwide; produces scientificevidence of the sustainability of ACP systems; supports these initiatives via international research and innovation actions; and highlights these initiatives at the international level.

Objectives

The conference intends to bring together a diverse group of participants, including international experts, academicians, professionals, extension experts, students, local farmers and other stakeholders on a single platform to discuss the latest research and developments in sustainable food systems, and explore innovative practices and co-design strategies in agroecology and their transformative potential in food and nutritional security. It also aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among all stakeholders working on agroecology.

Guidelines for extended abstracts The abstract should be typed in Ariel font size 11 with bold title and headings. Theme should be mentioned on top of the page. Abstract should have Title (10-15 words); Keywords (4-5 words alphabetically); Introduction (upto 100 words max.); Material and methods (100-150 words max.); Results and conclusion (with only 1 tables/figures, 250 words max) and References (2 max, APA format). It should be submitted by email to nfsfs.uhf@gmail.com latest by 19th August 2024.
