About IGKV R-ABI
The RKVY RAFTAAR Agribusiness Incubator is an agri-innovation hub and agri-business incubation centre of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur Chhattisgarh India. Operationalized as a project, it is supported by the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & FarmersWelfare (DAC & FW), Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India under the revamped scheme Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana –Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sector Rejuvenation (RKVY-RAFTAAR).
The project has been launched in 2018-19 and sanctioned to Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur for the year 2018-19 and 2019-20 upto 31st March 2020. The University was sanctioned this project on 7th March 2019. The Project aims at strengthening infrastructure to promote agripreneurship and agribusiness by providing financial support and nurturing the incubation ecosystem by tapping innovations and technologies for venture creation in agriculture and allied activities:

Abhinav:
It is an Agripreneurship Orientation Program (AOP) of R-ABI IGKV under the RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme.
It is aimed at providing an opportunity to students/youth to work on their innovative ideas on technological solutions / processes / products /services / business platforms etc. in agriculture and allied activities.
The incubatees will be given two months (60 hours) training cum hands on internship at R-ABI IGKV. They will be offered incubation space, technology support, business mentoring, networks, scientific and information resources and provide an active program for identification, creation, acceleration and translation of business ideas suitable for new venture creation.
A stipend of Rs. 10,000/- per month will be granted under the project to these interns for two months during the hands on training period. After successful completion of the two months orientation programme, the R-ABI IGKV will facilitate incorporation of entities for all viable business ideas by the interns.
Selected interns will be eligible to apply for Idea/Pre-Seed Stage funding of grant in aid upto Rs. 5 lakhs per startup for converting his/her innovative idea into prototype/product. The selected interns will register his/her company before the release of the grant as per DIPP notification to get Grant in aid.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The applicant should be a resident of Chhattisgarh/a resident of neighboring states of Chhattisgarh/will be setting up the project in Chhattisgarh, ifincubated with IGKV R-ABI, Raipur.
The recipient should propose one innovative idea based on technology, service, business platforms etc. for increasing efficiency in agriculture and allied sector.
The recipients are expected to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations full time.
The recipient should have an innovative initial business plan/proposal for the idea they intend to pursue.
After successful completion of the initial two months of AOP , interns will qualify to submit application for receiving Idea/Pre-Seed Stage Funding
The selected intern should be registered for the incubation programme at the R-ABI IGKV for the entire duration of Idea/Pre-Seed Stage Funding.

Indian start-up as per DIPP notification
Udbhav:
Under this program, Seed Stage Funding (SSF) as Grant in aid to Startups of RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme will be available to selected incubates of R-ABI IGKV as per guidelines. Financial assistance of maximum upto Rs. 25 lakhs will be granted to potential startups that have a minimum viableproduct (MVP) based on innovative solutions/processes/products/services/business model in agriculture and allied sectors. The amount of Rs. 25lakhs is the upper limit of the seed fund assistance.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The applicant should be a resident of Chhattisgarh/a resident of neighboring states of Chhattisgarh/will be setting up the project in Chhattisgarh, if incubated with IGKV R-ABI, Raipur.
All incubatees of R-ABI IGKV will be eligible for this funding after completion of two months training on the basis of consistent performance evaluated by R-ABI IGKV Incubation Committee (RIC)
The recipient should be a registered legal entity in India
The recipient has to be an Indian startup as per DIPP notification
This support is not meant for Indian subsidiaries of MNCs /foreign company
