Central Silk Board (CSB), is a Statutory body established in 1948 by an Act of Parliament. It is working under the administrative control of Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is engaged in undertaking, assisting and encouraging scientific, technological and economic research to improve
levels of income in sericulture through spread of scientific sericulture practices to see India emerge as the leader in the world market for silk and advise the Central Government on development of
silk industry.
The Department of Personnel & Training, Govt. of India has issued guidelines to utilize the results of Scores based on examinations conducted by Public Agencies and the Ministry of Textiles also has issued similar guidelines to the Central Silk Board.
Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) have agreed to permit CSB to shortlist applicants based on the ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) - 2022 for examination/testing purposes only.
Selection Process???
Accordingly, Central Silk Board INTENDS to recruit applicants for filling Scientist-B (Level 10) posts by DIRECT RECRUITMENT for CSB Headquarters and its Offices located in the country by short listing applicants for Selection in the Subject/specialization & overall score secured by the applicants in the ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) - 2022 exams to be conducted by the National Testing Agency(NTA) in 2022, as per the details given below:
Applicants should appear for the ICAR AICE-JRF SRF Ph.D. - 2022 examination in all sections arts as er Core and Specialized subjects indicated above in order to become eligible for applying for the post of scientist-B (Pre-Cocoon Sector) under Central Silk Board.
Applicants are advised to apply for ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) - 2022 examination online through the website https://icar.nta.nic.in/. Scale of Pay: Level-10 (as per 7th CPC) (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500)
Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Science or Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences from a recognized University.
Age: Not exceeding 35 year as on 31.10.2022 (tentative).
Crucial date for determining: age, qualification etc. : 31.10.2022 (tentative)
