📚 What You'll Learn:
Program
The purpose of this training program is to orient Students, Enthusiasts, Farmers and FPOs, to understand various perspectives, trends and entrepreneurial opportunities of agroecological farming systems besides orienting them with new extension tools which enable them to become exemplary entrepreneurs in various paradigms of agroecological farming.
Participants
Limited to 45 students, or students representatives from KVKs & FPOs, enthusiasts etc.,
🎓 Who Should Attend:
This course is designed for those who have been practicing, or thinking of getting into, or doing organic farming, sustainable agriculture, and those that wish to create business opportunities and/or market linkages.
🎓 Requirement: 12th Passed and preferably from Local Groups/FPOs/ICS/registered with ATMA, PKVY, Namani Gange or any State or Central Sponsored Schemes related to Organic Farming
🎓 Expectations from the Participants:
After successfully completing the training, you should be able to facilitate the extension services in both the production, organic certification and business/marketing of the farmer's produce that you are working with.
🎓 Outcome of the course:
To orient participants on the emerging areas in agroecological farming systems, emerging extension tools, and entrepreneurial skills
To inculcate new entrepreneurial competencies and career opportunities in agroecological farming systems besides utilizing enabling agricultural extension methods
